The grand finale of the Miss Tourism Nigeria
competition held recently and it was quite an evening of glitz, glamour
and style as several people gathered to witness the crowning of the
5thMiss Tourism Nigeria World queen.
At the end, it was Ogenna Ekwubiri representing Abia who emerged as the new Miss Tourism Nigeria World 2016.

As Part of her prizes, she received an
official car, BOOM J8 (courtesy of Tecno mobile), a Cway Dispenser, a
year supply of woodin (courtesy of Korede Bello), a custom-bottled champagne (courtesy of Drumbiu).

She’ll also represent Nigeria this October in Malaysia amongst over 70 countries at the Miss Tourism World pageant.
Runners up include Miss Enugu (Immaculata Offurum) who was crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Globe (she’ll represent Nigeria at the next Miss Globe pageant in China), Awka Ibom’s Ivie Young Akpude
won the title of Miss Tourism Nigeria International (She’ll
represent Nigeria at Miss International in Japan) while Miss Anambra was
crowned Miss Tourism Nigeria Africa.

The new queen, Ogenna Ekwubiri,
describes herself as a Child of God, an entrepreneur and a feminist. She
says “I believe in God, Karma & love” and she is an advocate for
peace, gender equality and education in Africa.
